Biggie f/ Jay-Z - Get Money (Live @ Ralph McDaniels' 1996 Birthday Bash)

If you grew up on hip-hop, you'd defintely know who Ralph McDaniels is. He hosted the New York based show Video Music Box on channel 31 (NY) for years. The show played a major part in getting hip-hop to where it is today and helped birth the careers of producers, directors & artists. One of the best things about the show was that you didn't need to have cable to see it. This footage is from his birthday party in 1996 where Jay-Z plays Biggie's hypeman as he performs "Get Money." 1996 is the year Jay also dropped his first album Reasonable Doubt so he was definitely in heavy circulation at this time.
